The 5-step hail process
Times below are typical ranges. Heavy storms, parts, glass, and your insurer’s review can add days. We tell you when that happens instead of hiding it.
Step 1 · Under 60 minutes
Drop off
Park at 550 North Street, Suite 2, Springfield, IL 62704. We inspect every hail strike we can see, photograph the vehicle, and build the estimate. Most drop-offs are done in under an hour. If you need a ride after you leave the car, say so when you call—we will help you plan it.
Step 2 · 2–5 days
Insurance
You file the claim with your carrier. We send documentation, talk through supplements, and stay in the loop so you are not the only person explaining hail density to an adjuster. Deductibles, rental coverage, and glass are your policy’s terms—we help you use them, we do not rewrite them.
Step 3 · 1–3 hours
Approval
When the estimate and the claim line up, approval is usually a short window. We confirm the repair plan with you before restoration starts so there are no surprise panel replacements if paintless work will save the factory finish.
Step 4 · 2–5 days
Restoration
This is the metal work. Technicians access the back of each panel and tap hail out of the original steel or aluminum. Cracked windshields, bruised moldings, and related items are handled as the claim allows. The aim is pre-storm condition with the factory paint still on the car.
Step 5 · 5–15 minutes
Delivery
We walk the vehicle with you, review the work, and hand over keys and paperwork. Delivery is brief because the repair should not need a speech. If something is off, we want to know before you leave the lot.
