No filler
Dents are worked out of the factory metal. We do not cover hail with body filler and a new coat of paint.

You Only Get One Factory Finish
Paintless hail restoration for cars, trucks, and SUVs. We return panels to pre-storm condition without grinding, filler, or a respray—so the factory paint, structure, and safety design stay intact.
Factory finish
A vehicle leaves the factory with one finish. Once that paint is sanded and sprayed, it cannot be put back. Hail Repair Team uses paintless dent repair to massage hail strikes out of the metal from behind the panel whenever the paint is intact.
Dents are worked out of the factory metal. We do not cover hail with body filler and a new coat of paint.
Keeping the original finish protects color match, clear coat, and the corrosion protection the manufacturer applied.
Modern vehicles are a web of structure, sensors, and wiring. Careless repair can compromise the cabin that is meant to protect occupants.
How it works
From drop-off in Springfield to keys back in your hand. Typical ranges—your insurance company and the amount of damage set the exact calendar.
Bring the vehicle to 550 North Street, Suite 2. We document the hail, walk the estimate, and get you on your way.
We work with your carrier on photos, supplements, and the claim so you are not left translating body-shop language.
Once the claim is aligned, approval is typically fast. We confirm the repair plan before metal work begins.
Paintless hail repair on every affected panel we can save. Glass, moldings, and related items are handled as the claim allows.
Walk-around, paperwork, and you are back in a vehicle that still wears its factory finish.
Workmanship
Hail Repair Team warrants the paintless hail repair we complete for as long as you own the vehicle. If a dent we repaired returns under normal use, bring it back and we will make it right. This is a workmanship warranty on our restoration—not a promise about future storms, glass, or unrelated body damage.
Founder
Michael has been taking dents out of vehicles since 1994. He is an ARC Master Technician, the founder of Hail Repair Team, and is based here in Springfield, Illinois. The standard is simple: represent the customer, protect occupant safety, and never treat a factory finish as disposable.
For everyday door dings in central Illinois, sister shop 217 Dent also serves Lincoln and Springfield.
“We care more for the customer and the safety of the occupants of the vehicle than the money. Vehicles are computers today—a spiderweb of wires designed to protect the passengers. We represent the customer.” Michael Bocek, Founder
