On-call tech contractors
This is not a W-2 job post. Independent technicians apply to a waiting list. After we receive your packet, you get a confirmation that you are on that list. When a storm hits, Hail Repair Team emails and texts techs by trade category.
How this works
Waiting list, not a hire
Hail Repair Team keeps an on-call waiting list of independent tech contractors. You are not applying for employment. You are asking to be listed so we can reach you by category after a storm. Submit, and we confirm you are on the waiting list. You stay off storm callouts until worker’s comp, insurance, tax ID, and the 1099 are checked.
Independent techs only. Corporate technicians are not eligible. If you are under contract with another company, that is a conflict of interest. You cannot be on-call for Hail Repair Team until that contract ends. We will check the uploaded contract against the expiration date you give us.
Applications are reviewed against the uploads—worker’s compensation, liability / shop insurance, and legal corporate name plus tax ID—before anyone is added to the on-call list.
What we require
Have these ready before you submit. Missing documents keep you off the list.
- Full legal name of the person applying.
- A selfie photo of you — take it on your phone.
- Legal corporate name and tax ID (EIN) for your company. Proof upload is required.
- Completed 1099 contractor form — not a W-9.
- Current worker’s compensation insurance — certificate upload.
- Current liability / shop insurance — certificate upload.
- Two referrals from other technicians — name, phone, and shop for each.
- One or more slots: Paintless dent repair technician, R&I technician, ADAS technician, Apprentice (3+ years as a technician), or Greenhorn.
Contractor application
This site has no server-side form. Submit opens your email to HailRepairTeaminc@gmail.com. Attach the documents in that email — file inputs cannot travel through mailto.
